Instructions For Standard Height Base (see photos):
1. Accurately measure and weigh the water to plaster ratio: Standard (p/n 002) 280ml water/ 800gm plaster, Pedodontic (p/n 003) 210ml water/ 600gm plaster (per complete patient set).
2. Pour plaster under vibration until plaster overflows from leading edge. Allow adequate gel time prior to placing poured-up impression on base.
3. Unearth impression with a No. 6 Kingsley-Type Scraper. Note: For maximum height base use additional plaster. Without the aid of vibration, add plaster level with the top edges of the base former using a Buffalo No. 11R 3-1/2" Spatula. Allow adequate gel time prior to placing poured-up impression on base.
4. Remove plaster from the tongue area of the mandibular cast.
5. Add plaster to the retro molar pad area of mandibular cast.
6. Separate base former using release ears .
NOTE: Does not include plaster models.
